Canción Americana

Canción Americana (2006) is a study in tremolando chords on the marimba. Making use of hymn-like harmonies, gentle and atmospheric chord progressions are explored by the marimba player as a concert opener. Written for renowned Bulgarian, UK-based percussionist Daniella Ganeva.

Juguete (2006) is a short piece that explores the virtuosity of the marimba player by building rhythmic patterns that are interrupted and re-built continuously while making use of the full range of the instrument.
